Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 8
In the last episode, we talked about setting boundaries what you will and will not allow.
But what many people don’t realize is that setting boundaries is not the final destination, it’s the introduction to something just as important: using your voice.
In this episode, we discuss what it means to find your voice after silence, survival, and self-doubt. Because many of us didn’t lose our voice…we built our lives around not needing it.
We learned how to keep the peace, how to stay quiet to protect relationships and how to keep our opinions to ourselves out of insecurity.
But being silent doesn’t always protect you, sometimes it slowly disconnects you from yourself.
In this episode we talk about,
- Recognizing where you’re choosing silence over honesty
- What happens when you don’t speak up for yourself.
- Simple ways to being using your voice.
It’s important to understand that silence can be protection for many people. Discovering a safe space to speak your truth is important that should be shared with the right people.
Using our voices is not about becoming louder - but it is about showing up authentically and not allowing others to speak for you.
Your voice matters and it deserves to be heard.
Listen, reflect and continue Reframing The Picture of your life.
You’re not behind.
You’re in process.
And you’re learning to see clearly.
