For Better For Worse - In Sickness and In Health: Ft Shelia Turner Co-Founder By Faith Not Sight (REWIND)
It is easy to get caught up in the details of the big day and not think beyond walking down the aisle and dancing into the night. But what do you do when life happens and you are confronted with the vows that test your faith? We promise to love “ To have and to hold, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part? My guest Shelia Turner and her husband knew the decisions they made before getting married would determine the marriage they would have and made before God and to each other.
As a a loving wife, mother, grandmother Shelia also co-founded a non-profit entitled www.byfaithnotsight.org with husband of 33 years and counting David Turner after a medical diagnosis. Family is everything to the Turners and it shows through their day to day lives and non-profit. Their non-profit was formed to offer hope and encouragement to families and individuals experiencing various types of illnesses ensuring they don’t suffer in silence.
The Turners specialize in consulting and public speaking events to create awareness while partnering with other nonprofits to provide support and hope to those needed on their journey.
